A
wooden, yellow box, showcasing bubble windows with images, and
embellished with layers of beads and found objects, has been created by
Cyndi Saint, a
master in the use of recycled materials. Each
item she makes uses a myriad of materials, reducing the carbon
footprint left behind while creating an enduring art object and
long-lasting enjoyment.
Painter
Judith Kniffin has
painted, in oil, a 12" x 12" canvas depicting "Two Lemons" that look
luscious. Unframed, the canvas is painted
on all sides to accentuate the subject.
"Sunspots"
by ceramist Marie DeVito,
is a sensuous set of three nesting bowls, brush-glazed in a creamy,
buttercup satin finish - the trio evokes a warm bath of sunshine in the
waning days of summer. "Vase" is a hand-built whimsical vessel, with a
waffled surface and twisty little add-ons, of yellow and red, and a
sea-water exterior.
The
24" x 7" image of "Black-Eyed Susans in the Rain," is as wide as the
smile sure to result when you see this impressive photo by Gabe Palmer.
