Jane Glesne photographs the natural world "up close and personal" in a close-up or macro mode.  After working in education, nature studies, and fiber art, she was thrilled to find one medium that encompassed it all: photography!  It comprises her love of the earth, her passion for texture and design,
and her need to teach. Her work encourages people to slow down and look more closely at the incredible natural world around them.

Living in Shaftsbury, Vermont, Jane finds that the mysteries, delights, and beauty the woods provide are endless.  She enjoys finding the potential in everything: simple beauty which others often walk by.

She is a regularly contributor to Adirondack Life, and it's calendars.  Her photos have
